Before founding RL Labs in 2005, Sharon Vessels ran her own packaged food company and built the lab she wished she'd had: one that answers the phone, explains results in plain language, and recommends what you actually need. Today, RL Labs provides ISO/IEC 17025-accredited testing for food, pet food, and supplement brands, from first batch to national shelf.

Sharon Vessels didn't come from science. She came from the other side of the lab counter. With an MBA from Pepperdine and senior roles at Black & Decker, Avery Dennison, NORMA Group, and Toro, she founded RL Labs in 2005 to be the lab she wished she'd had.
